HOUSTON – Another hard freeze warning has been issued as the Houston area experiences its coldest temperatures in three years, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.

The hard freeze warning has been issued for the Houston area from 9 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s overnight and stay there for several hours.

Tuesday will have a low of 21 and high of 45 degrees.

Then on Wednesday we get some relief from the bitter cold with early-morning temperatures in the 40s and afternoon temperatures near 60.

In the next couple of days we will warm up dramatically.

“We’re talking 65 by Thursday and pushing 70 by Friday with thunderstorms,” Garner said.
