HOUSTON— Get your jackets out, an arctic blast is on its way Tuesday evening, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
The 70-degree noon temperatures are expected to drop to 49 degrees by 7 p.m.
“The only way to describe the pattern is windy and cold,” he said. “If you don’t have a jacket, it will just get you to the core.”
On Wednesday and Thursday our daytime highs will only be in the mid-50s to low-60s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-30s.
By Friday we will warm back up into the low-70s with a chance for rain.
The chance for rain lasts through the weekend with overnight lows in the 60s.
