HOUSTON -- Saturday morning will be muggy as scattered rain and storms move back into the Houston area.
"By morning, I think we are going to see some showers setting up right off the beaches,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There's a 40-percent chance for rain Saturday with a forecast high of 94 degrees. The showers will not last all day, according to Garner.
This weather trend continues through the weekend with a slight increase in the chance for rain starting the middle of next week.
Out in the Caribbean, Gabrielle lost its tropical storm status early Thursday. While it brought heavy rain to Puerto Rico, it's now expected to fall apart into a low-pressure system.
