HOUSTON – Wednesday will be the last sunny and warm day this week before a cold front brings rain to Southeast Texas, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Fog is possible again early Wednesday morning, but it should lift by 9 or 10 a.m.
“It’s tonight into tomorrow morning that we’ll start to see clouds move in,” said Johnson. “It’s not out of the question that we’ll have spotty showers Thursday morning, but our best chance for rain will start in the afternoon and throughout the day Friday.”
The wet forecast sticks around through the weekend as our daytime highs drop from the mid-70s to the low-40s. Early-morning temperatures will be in the mid-30s starting this weekend.
The cool and cloudy weather sticks around for the start of our next workweek.
