HOUSTON – A fresh cold front that moved in early Sunday morning will keep temperatures below average through Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
The Houston area missed the record low Sunday morning by just a few degrees. Despite the cold early morning temperatures, the Cinco de Mayo forecast will be beautiful. Expect sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s on Sunday.
Sunny days and temperatures in the 80s will continue through next week.
After a mild dry start to the work week, on-shore winds will bring back enough moisture for isolated showers by the start of the next weekend.
