HOUSTON – The sun returns briefly to the Houston area on Tuesday, but it will still be pretty cold outside, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There is a Wind Advisory in effect for the coastal counties until 9 a.m. along with a Small Craft Advisory.
We were in the mid-30s out the door early this morning.
“It’s going to be chilly all throughout the day today, but the nice thing is we are going to see more sunshine,” said Johnson. “We’ll be just below the 50-degree mark this afternoon in most areas.”
The normal average temperature for this time of year is 65 degrees.
The rest of this week will be cold with daytime highs in the 50s under cloudy skies.
