HOUSTON — Even though the Houston area will see plenty of sun Tuesday, expect it to still be a full-blown winter day with highs in the 40s, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Temperatures will start out in the low-30s for the Tuesday morning commute minus Monday’s mist and fog. Temps are likely to reach 48 later in the afternoon; normal average temperature for this time of year is 65 degrees.
There is a Wind Advisory in effect for the coastal counties until 9 a.m. along with a Small Craft Advisory.
The rest of this week will be cold with daytime highs in the 40s and 50s under cloudy skies.
There’s a chance for scattered rain throughout the week, with an increasing chance for rain Friday and Saturday.
