HOUSTON – It will be sticky and humid Tuesday morning with temps kicking off the day at 77 degrees, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
There’s a 30-percent chance for scattered thunderstorms showers Tuesday afternoon.
“Some of those downpours may be heavy,” Paul said.
Temps will top off at 95 degrees. Afternoon temps will remain in the mid-90s for the rest of the week.
Meanwhile in the tropics, the National Hurricane Center is monitoring Tropical Depression #2 in the western Caribbean. It’s heading northwest toward Mexico.
“The impact on us is going to be zero," Paul added, "except maybe a better rain chance next week.”
