HOUSTON – We will continue to build the heat Wednesday and into the weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Temps will kickoff at 78 degrees on Wednesday morning with no rain chance.
“We have a hot week ahead,” Garner said.
The temperatures continue to climb this week, and by this weekend our afternoon highs will be topping out around 100 degrees. The humidity will make it feel even hotter than that, however.
Looking at the Atlantic, there’s a system we’re watching that has a pretty good chance of developing into a tropical storm in the next 48 hours.
“This one is likely to become Tropical Storm Dorian,” Garner said.
It's too early to forecast the system's path.
