HOUSTON—After rainfall Tuesday we'll have a steamy evening that will lead to a warm and muggy Wednesday morning, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Gardner said.
“Can rule out the chance for some patchy fog as well,” he said.
The morning will begin with lows in the upper 70s and it will warm up to the upper 90s.
You may need your umbrella in the afternoon – there’s a 20-percent chance for rain.
The temperature climbs even more later this week as the rain chances continue to dwindle. By this weekend our daytime highs will be around 100 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Looking at the tropics, we’re continuing to track Tropical Storm Chantal. By this Thursday or Friday we should have a much better idea of where it’s heading, but right now its track has it heading east of Florida. It’s forecast does not show it strengthening much, and it may remain a tropical storm.
