HOUSTON – There some periodic showers overnight, but most of them will likely stay towards the west and north of the Houston metro area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
“We will have a few showers developing throughout the day today, but we’ll have more areas with rain likely tomorrow,” Garner said.
Temps will drop down to 70 overnight, and expect to see some wet roadways for the Wednesday morning commute.
The real showers will through on Wednesday around 1 p.m. as the cold front moves through the area. There will be a 70 percent chance of rain as the front, and a significant shift in winds with the cold front.
By Thursday the rain will be gone; our early morning temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s, and our daytime temps will be in the upper-60s and lower-70s.
This coming weekend is looking really nice with pleasant daytime temps under mostly sunny skies.
