HOUSTON – The Houston area could plenty of rain this week beginning on Tuesday, according to the KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
For Monday, there is on a 20 percent chance for rain with the possibility of a stray shower or two in the morning. Temperatures will start out in the upper-70s for the day before warming up to the low-90s.
Come Tuesday, the chance for rain increases to 40 percent as we continue to see more moisture come in from the Gulf of Mexico. Expect to see plenty of rain for Wednesday and Thursday as well.
However, with a 2.75-inch rainfall deficit for the year, the Houston area could use the rain.
The chance for rain will remain throughout the rest of the week.
