HOUSTON –- There’s a continuing chance for scattered downpours as a front sits over the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
“We aren’t expecting anything severe today, but there’s a chance for downpours, especially for areas south of I-10,” said Garner.
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain today as we top out around 83 degrees.
Wednesday will also be warm and cloudy but there’s little-to-no chance for rain.
Thursday and Friday the skies clear up as we approach 90 degrees.
Garner says our next chance for rain comes on Sunday and Monday as temperatures stay warm, but the good news is another front could have us getting our jackets out in the overnight hours next week.
