HOUSTON -- Temperatures will be hotter than they were on Tuesday as our rain chances decrease in Southeast Texas, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
We were in the upper-70s early Wednesday with a forecast high of 93.
“Rain chances will increase again as we head to the end of the week, but today we’ll only see about a 30-percent chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm,” said Johnson.
Thursday there’s a 40-percent chance for rain, and on Friday there’s a 60-percent chance.
The chance for scattered rain and storms continues this weekend, too.
Next week will be sunny and hot with daytime temps approaching 100 degrees.
