HOUSTON — There will be a bit of rain Saturday, but not until later in the evening so you can still get some fun in, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Light showers and few sprinkles showed up on the Houston radar Saturday morning, but the greatest chance for rain will not come until later in the evening.
The storm predictions have the Houston area under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms for Saturday.
Saturday will see lows in the low-60s, highs in the lower 70s and a 50-percent chance for rain.
A front moving in on Sunday morning could bring additional showers with a 30 percent chance of rain and temperatures remaining in the 60s all day.
Next week is looking nice and clear with rising temps into the mid-70s by Wednesday.
