HOUSTON — A series of cold fronts will bring cooler temps to the Houston area this week especially towards the end of the work week, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
To start off, we will see lows in the mid-40s Monday morning before temps warm up to the mid-70s under clear skies.
The first cold front is slated to arrive sometime on Tuesday dropping temps by roughly 10 degrees to the low-60s. You can expect cold nights with mild days for the first half of the week.
Come Thursday, we will see rain return to the forecast. Another cold front will bring more Arctic air to the area lowering highs down to the mid-40s for Friday.
