HOUSTON – The threat for severe weather has significantly reduced Thursday evening, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
"The thick cloud coverage has reduced our heat energy and our chances for rain overall," said Paul.
Friday there’s a 30-percent chance for rain, but the daytime highs will drop into the mid-70s.
The rain chance sticks around this weekend with daytime highs in the low-70s.
The rain clears out by Tuesday with just a few clouds and temps in the mid-70s next week.
