HOUSTON -- Tuesday brings another chance for scattered rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There’s a 30-percent chance for rain, mainly in the afternoon hours.
“If you see anything this morning, it’s going to be extremely light,” said Johnson. “It’s going to be after your lunchtime hour we start to see a real chance for rain and thunderstorms.”
We’ll top out around 95 degrees Tuesday, but if you get any rain it will help to cool things off a bit.
The rest of this week looks mostly the same – daytime temps in the mid-90s with a chance for rain.
It will be less cloudy this weekend as our afternoon temperatures stay pretty hot.
