HOUSTON – A line of storms from the northwest made their way through the Houston area Sunday morning bringing heavy rains for parts of the city, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
By 9 a.m. most areas received between one and two inches of rain. The showers should clear Southeast Texas by Sunday evening.
Temps will start off in the lower-60s Sunday morning before peaking at 79 in the afternoon.
In the seven-day forecast, overnight temps stay in the 50s and 60s and daytime temps stay in the low-80s.
We could see rain return later in the week for Halloween.
