HOUSTON –- Tropical moisture off the Gulf will continue to move inland, bringing scattered rain to southeast Texas through the weekend.
In the early morning hours Thursday, only a few showers were spotted down in Brazoria and Galveston Counties. Some of this rain will move further inland this afternoon, however.
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain today with a forecast high of 94 degrees.
The skies stay partly cloudy and the chance for rain continues through early next week, so keep that umbrella handy.
Daytime temperatures will stay in the low- to mid-90s for the next seven days.
