HOUSTON – Scattered showers will move into the Houston area starting around lunchtime Wednesday as a cool front moves through, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“Temperatures today will remain in the 70s because of the rain and clouds,” said Johnson. “Some areas will get about a quarter to a half-inch of rain. We’ll get a lot less compared to the rainfall we saw last week.”
We’ll top out around 77 degrees this afternoon with a 70-percent chance for rain.
Thursday the rain chance goes away, and we’ll finally start to feel some of that cooler air with daytime temps in the 60s and early-morning temperatures in the 50s.
Friday morning will be even cooler with temperatures in the 40s.
The daytime temperatures will stay pleasant through the weekend, but it will start to warm up with the return of scattered rain early next week.
