HOUSTON -- Scattered showers and storms will continue to pop up in Southeast Texas for the next several days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

We'll top out in the low- to mid-90s Monday afternoon under a mix of clouds and sun.

There’s a 20-percent chance for rain this evening with an increasing rain chance from Tuesday into Wednesday.

There’s a chance for scattered showers all this week, but the rain chance peaks on Wednesday at 30-percent.

Our daytime temps will be in the mid-90s all this week with only a little relief from the heat if you catch some of the passing showers. Overnight temps will be muggy and in the upper-70s.

The chance for scattered storms continues all the way through the weekend, and it will be hot as summer officially gets underway this Saturday.
