HOUSTON -- Monday evening will be steamy with scattered showers across the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

There’s a 40-percent chance for rain with overnight temps in the mid-70s.

“Watch out for spot flooding this evening,” Garner said.

The chance for scattered rain sticks around the rest of the workweek.

On Saturday there’s a 30-percent chance for rain with a high around 85 degrees.

Sunday morning we’ll have a low around 62 degrees. That afternoon we’ll only top out around 81 degrees under clear skies.
