HOUSTON -– Monday afternoon will be steamy with scattered showers across the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain with a forecast high around 88 degrees today.
The chance for scattered rain sticks around the rest of the workweek.
“A big cold front comes in from the north later this week, but it’s not even showing up on the map yet,” said Garner. “Until then we’ll have lingering moisture over southeast Texas. All week long we’ll have a chance for some showers.”
On Saturday there’s a 30-percent chance for rain with a high around 85 degrees.
Sunday morning we’ll have a low around 62 degrees. That afternoon we’ll only top out around 81 degrees under clear skies.
