HOUSTON -– It’ll be rainy and cool in the Houston area leading up to the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Temps will cool down to the upper-50s this evening.
“We’ve had a band of rainfall that has produced anywhere from a quarter-inch to a half-inch on average -- mainly in areas west of Houston,” said Gomez. “By tomorrow we could see more thundershowers and heavier rain.”
Friday will be slightly warmer with a 50-percent chance for rain.
By Saturday the rain chance starts to decrease along with the temperatures.
Overnight lows early next week will return to the low-40s.
