HOUSTON – Make sure to have an umbrella handy for Monday morning as rain is expected for the start of the work week, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Temperatures will start out in the low-70s for most of the Houston area. We could see some isolated showers develop to the north and northeast of the metro area around 4 a.m.
Then during the morning rush hour, expect to see a line of showers push through from the northwest heading towards the coast. There is about a 30 percent chance for rain tomorrow morning.
The showers should clear the area by the early afternoon. After that, we are likely to see our first 90-degree day of the year.
Come Tuesday, another cold front will move through bringing us lows in the 50s and highs in the upper-70s for the rest of the work week.
