HOUSTON — The weekend’s pleasant weather will continue Sunday, but the Houston area will soon see rain again, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Expect to see overnight temperatures in the mid- to upper-40s under clear skies. However, the clouds will slowly return Sunday afternoon as temps peak at about 70 degrees.
By the evening, we should start to see some showers move in from the southwest. The heaviest showers are likely to come Monday morning with a 40 percent chance for rain.
After that, temps will begin to dip again. Overnight lows early next week will return to the 30s and 40s, and daytime temperatures will be in the mid-60s.
