HOUSTON -- If you’re planning a trip outdoors Thursday evening to watch fireworks this July 4th holiday, go ahead, the weather will be working in your favor for the most part, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
The spattering of showers will diminish through the evening by 10 p.m. with temps falling to 81 degrees.
“Just in time for the fireworks,” Garner said.
This weekend, however, the rain chances will increase due to some tropical activity.
There will be a 40-percent chance for rain on Saturday, which will increase to 60 percent by Tuesday.
“It may be a rainy end to the weekend,” Garner said.
