HOUSTON — The chance for rain returns this weekend as another storm system makes its way through Southeast Texas, according KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
“We have high clouds in the area today, but sunshine is pushing in from the west,” said Garner. “The clouds are ahead of the next storm system that will bring us showers Saturday afternoon into Sunday.”
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain Saturday and a 60-percent chance Sunday.
Saturday morning will start out in the low-50s and will peak at 70 in the afternoon. However, highs Sunday will peak in the upper-50s as the storm system moves through.
Daytime temps will drop slightly for the start of the new week, but we’ll increase to the mid-70s by Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday another front moves through, putting us in the upper-30s early Thursday morning.
