HOUSTON -- The chance for showers will continue for the next several days so keep your umbrella handy, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
The rain is really helping to improve our drought situation.
"They will be widespread across the area," Paul said. “We have a couple more wet days.”
There’s a 60-percent chance for rain on Tuesday as well with a forecast high of 90 degrees.
The rain chance continues for the rest of this week.
By this weekend our temperatures will be in the mid-90s under partly cloudy skies with only a slight chance for showers.
