HOUSTON – We’ll top out in the upper-70s on a balmy Tuesday afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

“It’s tropical outside with high humidity levels,” said Garner. “We will have a few showers developing throughout the day today, but we’ll have more areas with rain likely tomorrow.”

There’s a 30-percent chance for showers today, but most of the rain is staying west of Houston.

Wednesday the rain chance increases to 60 percent as a front moves in, pulling more tropical moisture into southeast Texas

By Thursday the rain will be gone; our early morning temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s, and our daytime temps will be in the upper-60s and lower-70s.

This coming weekend is looking really nice with pleasant daytime temps under mostly sunny skies.
