HOUSTON -- Springtime showers will return this week to the Houston area as a frontal boundary makes its way across the state, according to the KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
We’ll top out in the low-90s Monday afternoon as a 40-percent chance for rain returns.
Garner says our best chance for rain will arrive with storms early Tuesday -- right around the morning rush hour. There’s a 50-percent chance for rain Tuesday with a high around 88 degrees.
The rest of this week will be hot – topping out in the mid-90s by Friday.
There’s a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance for rain for the start of the weekend.
