HOUSTON – A freeze warning is in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday for all of southeast Texas from Huntsville all the way down to the coast, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
“Protect the pets, protect the plants, the pipes should be OK,” he said. “Temperatures will drop down below freezing except for the just immediate beaches and the bay.”
The weather will be sunny and chilly Tuesday. The high temperatures will only be in the low-50s and we’ll see a light north breeze.
We could also see another freeze warning on Tuesday night.
Be sure to check your furnace to ensure that it is working properly, cover and wrap plants and water pipes, bring in outdoor pets and check in on those who made need assistance like the elderly.
