HOUSTON — Big changes are the way as a winter chill makes heads to the Houston area this week, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
To start the work week off, the weather will be perfect for Veterans Day and the parade planned for downtown. Temps will start off in the mid-50s before warming up to the mid-70s.
However, a cold front will bring Arctic air to the area Tuesday evening including gusty winds. Overnight lows will drop down to the upper-30s and highs Wednesday and Thursday will peak in the mid-50s.
The chance for rain will not return until later this week on Friday and Saturday. We could as much as a 50 percent chance for rain next weekend.
