HOUSTON – Houston’s big chance for rain fizzled out overnight, leaving us with just a few sprinkles in the early-morning hours Tuesday.
There is only a 20-percent chance for morning rain with temps in the mid-50s. This afternoon we’ll top out in the mid-70s.
“I thought we were going to see more rain, so I’m a little disappointed to be honest,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson. “You can put away the umbrella, but you may want to keep the jacket handy for later this week.”
Wednesday we’ll be in the 50s and 60s, but on Thursday and Friday morning we’ll get into the low-40s for the early-morning hours.
The clouds will start to move out, leaving us with more sunshine the rest of this week and daytime temps in the 60s.
This weekend a slight chance for rain returns.
