HOUSTON – We are in for some great holiday weather in the Houston area, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Sunday will begin with lows in the low 70s and we have a 20-percent chance of seeing rain showers.
“Seasonably we’re at about 88 for a high temperature, that’s our average during the Memorial holiday weekend here in Houston,” he said. “It looks like we’re going to see some really nice weather.”
It's a little steamy outside and increasing humidity could lead to rain on Tuesday.
Tuesday or Wednesday we’ll see up to a half inch of rainfall, some places could see an inch of rainfall, Gomez said.
It’ll remain warm – in the mid-80s -- during the daytime next week.
