HOUSTON -– Wednesday will be another muggy, warm, and wet day across southeast Texas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“I think our chances for rain will start to go down after today – even starting later tonight,” said Johnson. “We are starting off this morning with light to moderate rainfall, however.”
Most of the early-morning rain stayed southeast of Houston, but all of the Houston area has a 50-percent chance for rain today. The forecast high is 91 degrees.
Starting Thursday the daytime temperatures climb by a few degrees, and there will be less clouds in the sky.
After today, the chance for rain through the weekend is only 20 to 30 percent, but the clouds and scattered showers carry over into next week, too.
