HOUSTON – The weekend forecast will be a mixed bag starting off with spring-like weather on Saturday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Expect to see some light showers from the morning through the afternoon with a 20-percent chance for rain. Highs in the mid-70s and the moisture will make for a muggy day.
There is a good chance we could see a thick fog roll in overnight starting Saturday evening.
On Sunday, a cold front will move through in the afternoon along with a line of showers will stick around for a good portion of the day with a 60-percent chance for rain.
Daytime temps will drop back into the 60s on Sunday and then in to the 50s on Monday. Overnight lows next week will be in the mid-40s.
Another cold front is expected to arrive sometime on Tuesday bringing cooler temps for the rest of the week.
After Tuesday, the skies will clear up leaving us with cool afternoons and cold overnight lows.
