HOUSTON -– We aren’t expecting any rain on this muggy Thursday morning, but there’s another chance for scattered showers this afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“If you are sick of this forecast, I understand, it’s the same thing every day, but this is what it is,” said Johnson. “There were showers north of Dallas earl this morning, and once we start to warm up, we’ll also have a chance for rain later this afternoon.”
We’ll top out in the upper-90s Thursday afternoon with a 20-percent chance for rain.
Friday will be hotter -- around 100 degrees.
The chance for scattered showers continues through the weekend and increases on Sunday and Monday.
The clouds and rain will cool things off a little next week as our daytime temperatures drop back into the low-90s.
