HOUSTON -- Friday will be another humid and partly cloudy day in the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“It’s going to be picture perfect this afternoon to head out to the beach, to head out to Kemah,” said Johnson. “We are starting off with cloud cover, but you’re going to see plenty of sunshine.”
There’s a slight rain chance today with a forecast high of 92 degrees.
We’ll have a nice mix of sun and clouds Saturday and Sunday as well with daytime highs in the low-90s.
Next week scattered showers return, but it’ll remain warm with plenty of sunshine to go around.
The National Hurricane Center says a high pressure system in the southern Gulf of Mexico now has a 50-percent chance of developing into a cyclone, but it's unlikely that it would impact Texas.
