HOUSTON – Our overnight hours were dry, but more rain is expected later in the day on Wednesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“I am expecting some showers to materialize as we wrap up the morning rush hour commute,” said Johnson. “Even if your morning commute is dry, I am expecting showers later this afternoon.”
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 93 degrees.
The muggy conditions and chance for much-needed rain sticks around through the weekend and heading into next week.
Daytime temperatures over the next several days will be in the mid-90s. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid-70s.
