HOUSTON -– There were low clouds with a few light sprinkles in the Houston area early Monday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The clouds will burn off, leaving us muggy and warm with breezy winds the rest of the day.
“Winds are going to stay out of the south today, and that’s going to continue to fuel us with those muggy conditions,” said Johnson. “You’re going to notice it right out the door this morning, and you’re going to notice it later this afternoon as well.”
Monday’s forecast high is 91 degrees, but it will feel like it’s in the mid-90s.
Looking at the seven-day forecast, things remain the same for the foreseeable future: muggy days with only a few clouds in the sky. There’s a slight chance for scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
Afternoon temperatures will remain around 90 degrees with overnight lows in the low-70s for the next several days.
