HOUSTON –- Most of the Houston area will have a nice mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday, but there’s still a chance for isolated showers, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The forecast high today is 94 degrees with a 20-percent chance for rain.
On Wednesday the rain chance jumps to 30 percent, and on Thursday it increases to 40-percent.
“We have some tropical moisture combined with a cool front that will bring us wide scattered heavy rain starting late Thursday into Friday,” said Johnson. “By Friday afternoon we are expecting some nice rainfall.”
Friday there’s a 60-percent chance for rain as our daytime highs drop into the upper-80s for a few days.
The chance for rain lasts through the weekend but goes away by the start of your workweek.
