HOUSTON -- Temperatures will once again be in the mid-90s on Thursday with a chance for scattered rain, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
"If you are on the coast, it will not surprise me if you see rain during your morning commute," Paul said.
Thursday morning temps begin in the mid-70s and top out at 94 degrees. There’s a 40-percent chance for showers in the afternoon.
Next week there’s little relief from the heat as a mix of sun and clouds continues.
Out in the Caribbean, Tropical Storm Gabrielle has formed, according to the National Weather Service. There is no threat to the United States at this time.
