HOUSTON – Temps will continue to be hot and muggy on Thursday morning, but there is a 30-percent chance for rain on Thursday afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Bring your umbrella in the morning.
Temps will kick off at 76 degrees and top off at 97 degrees.
“It may be one of those days where one or two of those storms are strong tomorrow afternoon,’ Paul said.
The chance for afternoon showers continues through the weekend and it increases next week.
Out in the Tropics, Tropical Storm Chantal has diminished.
“It is now an open wave and weakening,” Paul said. “Chantal is no more.”
