HOUSTON – The relief from the heat is gone as humidity pushes us closer to the 90-degree mark this week.
It will be muggy and warm with little chance for rain for the next several days. Our overnight hours will be in the upper-60s to low-70s.
According to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson, we’ll top out in the mid-80s with southeasterly winds Monday afternoon.
“Temperatures will warm up fast,” said Johnson. “A nice mix of sun and clouds can be expected for your Monday, and that’s really the trend for the rest of the week.”
By the end of this week we’ll reach the upper-80s as a few more clouds enter the forecast.
There’s a very slight chance for scattered showers this weekend, but there’s no significant chance for rain in the seven-day forecast.
