HOUSTON – Don’t expect to rain anytime soon as the weather will become much drier and hotter this week, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
By the end of the work week, temperatures could reach triple-digits, but for now, overnight temperatures will drop down to the mid-70s.
Monday morning will be a little cooler and muggy to start. Temps will climb to the mid-90s in the afternoon, but the humidity will make it feel closer to 100.
As the week progresses, the heat index could hit 105 with all the moisture in the air.
