HOUSTON – Friday morning will be muggy with temps in the low-70s and there is a low rain chance in the Houston area.
On Friday the rain chance drops to 10 percent and the high temperature will reach about 94 degrees.
This weekend looks sunny and dry with daytime temps in the low- to mid-90s. A slight chance for rain returns next week.
Looking to the tropics, we’re keeping an eye on a tropical wave that has a chance of developing further in the Caribbean before it enters the Gulf. It could bring us some rain toward the end of next weekend, but it’s unclear where it will go at this point. Over the next few days we’ll have a much better idea of where it’s heading.
In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Erin formed early Thursday morning, but it’s too soon to tell where it will go.
