HOUSTON – Don’t leave home without your umbrella Thursday.

Light showers made the roads slick in the early-morning hours, but later today storms are expected. Storms will start to pass through in the later afternoon and evening hours, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

We will have a 70-percent chance for rain both Thursday and a 60-percent chance Friday.

We'll top out in the mid-80s for the next several days.

The rain chance starts to decrease Saturday and Sunday, but then increase again on Monday.

Next week the clouds and humidity stick around with temps in the mid- to upper-80s.
