HOUSTON – The weekend’s spring-like weather will continue Monday after it generated record highs for Saturday and Sunday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Sunday had a high of 84 in the afternoon with clear skies much of the day. Temperatures should drop down to the low-60s this evening for most of the area.
There may be some patchy low clouds Monday morning, but the skies should clear by the afternoon. The forecast for Monday includes a high of 81 a few degrees below the record for the day at 85.
Late Monday could have some rainfall with a 20 percent chance. There is a 40 percent chance of rain on Tuesday.
